We were there during the summer months, hoping for some good hiking adventures. While the location was a bit of a trek from the town center—about a 20-minute walk—we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. What stood out to us were the family-friendly amenities. My kids loved the children's playground, complete with swings and slides, providing a nice spot for them to unwind after our daily activities. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, which kept us active even with the rainy weather. The rooms were clean but showed signs of wear; however, for the price, it was exactly what we expected. Breakfast each morning was good—fresh bread, meats, and veggies were plentiful, and the host was engaging, making us feel welcome. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot in Werfenweng, Haus Regina offers some nice features, especially for winter skiing trips. I’d consider staying again, perhaps when the town is more accessible for summer activities!
